Well winter is here and it is hard to think about the hot days of summer and our next mission project. however, that is exactly what we are doing. We have been asked and have accepted a project at First Baptist Church in Red Bud, IL.

Red Bud is located approximately 35 miles southeast of St. Louis, MO. The area is a fast growing area and many people live in Red Bud and work in St. Louis. The size of the town is approx. 3500. The church has outgrown their current location of 50 years and will be relocating to a new location. The church will sell its current location and has purchased 10 acres to build the new church. The size of the church is approx. 350 members with about 160 in worship and 125 in Sunday School. Although the church is currently without a pastor, they voted 98% for us to come. They have many young families with lots of kids and need more space and want to get more involved in more ministries. The size of the project is 22,000 sq ft. and one story.

Our dates for the project is, start to work on Saturday May 31st and end on Saturday June 7th. An RV park will be built by the church. I will need to hear from you ASAP. Please complete the registration form and mail back to me with your $60.00 deposit per person.

As always, I don't want this to be just another mission trip. Please pray and ask God to show you His will concerning this project.

The last words of Jesus to us on planet earth were "and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." We have a mandate to give and to go!
